goal.

the net zero Lead in promoting our net zero standards through our supply chain, establishing a
new central list of approved sustainable suppliers.

on the emissions of our suppliers; all with a view to implementing emissions reduction actions
and driving down our supply chain emissions.
  • Support the Commercial Contracts and Procurement manager in the review and implementation
of new policies and procedures to govern increasing contracting activity geared at achieving
    efficiencies.
  • Support the Commercial Contracts and Procurement Manager with the development and maintenance
of a suitable suite of contract and procurement templates.
  • Support commercial client liaison and contract negotiations with key suppliers and clients.
  • Under direction and oversight of the Commercial Contracts and Procurement Manager, review and
draft standard commercial sales and purchasing contracts in line with current contract law and
    best industry practice.

What you’ll bring

  • Sound working knowledge of commercial contracts, contract management, the Public Contracts
    Regulations and procurement processes.
  • Strong communication, organisational, team working and problem-solving skills as well as the
ability to manage time and priorities efficiently, a proactive approach to driving improvement
and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of sustainable procurement with the ability to identify
environmental issues within a supply chain (although this is desirable, it’s not essential as
full training on sustainable procurement will be provided).
  • Relevant experience in stakeholder or supplier relationship management with the ability to
    measure and review supplier performance.
