About This RoleAs a global leader in Civil Aviation training, our Business Aviation Training Division is undergoing an exciting period of expansion and we now have several full-time openings for Synthetic Flight Instructors on the Dassault Falcon EASy based out of our Burgess Hill (West Sussex) Training Centre. If you’re a Professional Pilot looking for a change of direction, have a training background and experience on the Falcon then we’d love to hear from you!The role we are offering youWe are looking for instructors to join us on the Falcon. We will build upon your existing experience as an aviation professional and transform you into a world-class Synthetic Flight Instructor and subject matter expert, ready to lead clients through their training – all with the added benefit of spending less time away from home.You will work alongside our client partners, providing expert Synthetic Flight instruction. In addition, some classroom based instruction will be required, and you will be responsible for the upkeep of accurate and concise trainee records. You will also get to work with state of the art synthetic training equipment and the very latest aircraft technologies.Our ideal candidate hasHeld a UK, EASA or ICAO equivalent licenceExperience on the Dassault Falcon EASy1500 hours or more total multi-pilot timeRecent instructional experience – TRI/TRE/SFI/SFE desirable and/or teaching experiencePrevious experience operating within a business aviation environment on the platforms mentioned above highly desirable although not essentialA keen eye for detail in training delivery – you must be willing to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and requirementsAbility to tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer baseBasic computer proficiency – Microsoft Office and other internet-based programsMust read, speak, and converse in English at a high levelFlexibility to commit to a 5-day-on / 2-days-off work patternMust live in commutable distance to Burgess Hill (ideally within a 1-hour drive / 30 miles or willing to make appropriate arrangements to stay locally)The right to live and work in the UK is desirableWhat kind of person will succeed in this team?You’ll be someone who thrives on mentoring and developing industry colleagues from diverse backgrounds and be passionate about delivering a high standard of training.
