- Develop high quality solutions designs that align with business objectives and requirements that consider security, reliability, quality of service, scalability, strategy, and standards
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and architectural principles
- Define and implement quality assurance processes and standards to ensure the reliability and accuracy of Data solutions
- Participate In Solution Definition – Provide critical insights, keeping a close connection to the technological and implementation capabilities of the Train in question.
- Define Enables and Architectural Runway – Define the necessary enablers, to allow the ART to build up the runway to support the intended features.
- Define System NFRs – Responsible for Defining Non-functional Requirements whilst ensuring that Enterprise Architecture will support these NFRs.
- Ensure Capacity Allocation for Enablement Work – Work with the Product Managers to allocate proper capacity for architecture work to be completed, to include, supporting PI Planning.
- Align Architectural Intent with Implementation – Ensure Alignment of expectations expressed in the architectural vision and the reality of the team’s skills, capacity, skills and more, as relevant.
- Define and drive the Continuous Delivery Pipeline that best supports the needs of the Agile Release Train
Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualifications and certifications for System Architecture or Solution Architecture
- Relevant Agile training and certification (Scrum Alliance or SAFe preferred).
- Practical Experience Demonstrable experience of defining and maintaining an end to end solution design that covers processes, data, security, governance, people and technology. Working with enterprise architecture, business stakeholders and development teams to ensure the right design is in place, is understood, evolved and followed to deliver high quality business outcomes that adhere to IT standards and strategies.
- Agile delivery experience preferably following Scaled Agile Framework.
- Hands on development experience, preferably in the Data domain, that encompasses data discovery, persistence, modelling, publication, governance, integration, consumption, analytics, dashboarding, AI, insights, etc.
- Experience and understanding of the SAP data model and architecture. Desirable experience of real time data publication and consumption. Desirable experience of working in a regulated industry.
