You will provide first line support to the operation in dealing with a range of system and process related issues.This is a full time; permanent position & working hours would be one of the following night shifts –Sunday – Thursday 22:00 – 06:00Tuesday to Saturday 22:00 – 06:00Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). - Be the site’s first line of IT support by actively monitoring and managing a Helpdesk queue.
- Escalate issues to both internal and external teams using the correct communications processes (Helix / ServiceNow) if they cannot be resolved in house.
- Support the operation with BAU system issues and technical expertise.
- Support CI Projects with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go-Live readiness.
- Investigate ad-hoc issues and provide solutions and recommendations to mitigate re-occurrence.
- Provide subject matter expertise to support Systems related projects.
- Complete and build new or one-off reports as required by the operation and the customer.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Service delivery knowledge (Ticket management and resolution) would be advantageous.
- Previous experience with WMS systems – JDA Dispatcher knowledge is desirable.
- SQL Query and report writing skills advantageous, but on-the-job training and experience can be provided.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Competency in systems and hardware investigations (terminals, printers & PC Setup / management)
- Ability to efficiently prioritise and self-manage workload where required.
