Information Technology (IT) Department is responsible for setting up IT strategy, policy and governance, planning for both short and long term perspective, aligning to organizational strategy and growth plan. IT is overall responsible to maintain a healthy, stable, scalable and secured IT operational environment through constant review of capacity planning for IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

The Systems Support Engineer reporting to Manager, IT Systems will be mainly responsible for following duties and responsibilities:

  • Configure and administer Cisco network switches, routers, and firewalls;
  • Administer Cisco Wireless LAN Controller and Access Point management;
  • Manage Next-Gen Firewalls, load balancers, and Web Application Firewalls;
  • Manage internet bandwidth and ensure service assurance from ISPs;
  • Manage Web Security Gateways (WSG), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and monitor security performance through SIEM;
  • Manage services like Cacti, Proxy, DHCP, FTP, and DNS;
  • Manage virtual machines, vSAN nodes, and NSX rules;
  • Utilize Vulnerability Assessment tools such as Nessus;
  • Manage VMs, storage, networks, and integrate Azure AD;
  • Deploy software/updates and maintain inventory and policy deployment;
  • Manage Blade/Rackmount servers and SAN/NAS storage;
  • Monitor network traffic, email logs, bandwidth utilization, and access rights to the internet;
  • Regularly back up system data following SOPs and restore data at offsite locations;
  • Perform routine hardware checks on all servers and WAN connections;
  • Configure WAN connections in alignment with policy and guidelines;
  • Monitoring tools such as OP Manager, Service Desk, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), and MRTG (Multi Router Traffic Grapher);
  • Monitor Server & Virtualization environment performance;
  • Manage Active Directory user accounts, groups, and policies; mailboxes and distribution groups;
  • Install, maintain, and update server OS;

Required qualification and experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science & Engineering or Information & Communication Engineering or relevant subject.
  • 4 years of experience in relevant field of which at least 3 years in the field of network administration, Cisco networking devices, VMware and Windows Server administration, systems and network troubleshooting and problem resolution.
