Job Description:Salary: c£34,500, depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience (+ £3,500 London Weighting where applicable).Contract Type: PermanentBased: UK/Home based. Although a predominantly home-based role, regular attendance (1-2 days a week) in either our London HQ (Embassy Gardens) or our Hospices in Glasgow/Cardiff/Belfast is preferred.We’re at the start of an exciting journey to transform our approach to recruitment here at Marie Curie. You will be one of the founding team in our new Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence. We have a significant journey ahead of us to improve our operating model, alongside delivering critical BAU hiring needs in a challenging labour market.In this role, you’ll recruit a wide variety of vacancies in accordance with the Marie Curie Talent Acquisition Strategy; ensuring that highly skilled, diverse talent is sourced, assessed and hired into the right jobs at the right time.Partnering with hiring managers you will manage a portfolio of vacancies, sourcing internal and external candidates to fill current roles in a cost effective and timely manner, whilst building a pipeline of candidates for future requirements and ensuring an engaging candidate experience.You’ll deliver expert advice and guidance to hiring managers on inclusive recruitment policy and practice, ensuring a best-in-class and positive candidate experience, regardless of the outcome.If you’re seeking a new role where you will contribute towards building a best-in -class recruitment function, deliver an outstanding service to hiring managers, and a fair and inclusive experience to candidates, we’d love to hear from you.In this role you will;

  • Manage full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles, across the organisation.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for all internal & external recruitment enquiries for their allocated area. Ensuring that all requests are dealt with correctly and promptly to ensure excellent candidate & hiring manager experience
  • Run high-impact inclusive recruitment campaigns where required. Developing cost-effective and effective campaigns and copywriting effective and inclusive adverts.
  • Maintaining and developing your network selling job roles to candidates and actively promoting Marie Curie.
  • Assist with organising and attending job fairs and recruitment events, ensuring candidate capture and ongoing relationship management of potential candidates.
  • Deliver recruitment effectively and efficiently, consistently meeting assigned metrics and measures – including time, cost, experience, diversity and quality.
  • Provide advice and recommendations to hiring managers on all aspects of inclusive recruitment policy and practice, e.g. insights on market hiring dynamics (where appropriate), total reward, sourcing options, inclusive selection/assessment approach and advertising copy to attract the best diverse candidates.
  • Participate in candidate evaluation and selection process, including initial screening and ensuring diverse candidate longlists. Fostering long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates.
  • Support Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure interviewers are competent and trained in our Marie Curie approach and recruitment policy.
  • Ensure the recruitment system and data processes are fully utilised and all records are kept up to date and accurate, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Maintain a smooth flow of communication and administration throughout the recruitment process including hand-offs for onboarding. Working with People Operations to ensure timely and accurate correspondence including all offers of employment.
  • Provide other administrative and project support to the wider Talent Acquisition team as necessary.
  • Contribute to a high-performance and inclusive team culture. Ensure delivery against service level agreements and KPIs to enhance the reputation of Marie Curie’s Talent Acquisition function through excellent service and professionalism

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant in-house recruitment experience gained in large complex corporate settings with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships)
  • Proven full-cycle recruitment experience. You’ll be able to demonstrate your capability in passive candidate attraction and fulfilling external talent demand via proactive pipeline-driven direct sourcing
  • A good understanding of digital attraction, social media and how these channels can be leveraged for recruitment.
  • Knowledge of inclusive assessment & selection techniques.
  • Knowledge of employment law, regulations and policy affecting Talent Acquisition.
  • Aware of best practice approaches and industry trends within recruitment and direct sourcing
  • Experience of working in a challenging labour market would be advantageous but not essential

Process

  • Final stakeholder interview – week commencing 8th July
