About the Position

We are looking to welcome a HR Advisor – Talent and Capability to drive the implementation of talent acquisition, employee experience, retention, and workforce capability strategies for our social enterprises.

  • Full time position.
  • $95,000 + Super + Salary sacrifice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition – Develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies, create engaging advertising materials, and build relationships with educational institutions and industry networks.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention – Collaborate with the People and Culture team to enhance workplace culture and improve employee satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Workforce Development – Execute workforce development initiatives to enhance capability, foster growth, and facilitate succession planning.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in human resources, organisational behaviour, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar HR role, with a strong background in talent acquisition, employee engagement, and workforce capability development.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, providing expert HR advice to senior leaders and managers.

Other Requirements

  • Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
  • Current driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to undergo and pass a Child Safety Personal History Screening Check (LCS2).
  • Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical exemption.
  • Willingness to travel to various Act for Kids and Youthrive locations as required.
