Job Description

Our Talent, Leadership and Inclusion Centre of Excellence (CoE) works in partnership with our HR teams, other CoE’s and business stakeholders to develop and engage our most important asset – our people.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR or Talent Management Professional to join our Europe and India team and help support us to successfully deliver our talent strategy.

This is a varied and demanding role supporting one of our largest and diverse regions, therefore no two days are ever the same! As a global business with a Think and Act Globally strategy, the Europe and India Talent Management team is responsible for bringing to life many of our core global processes and learning programmes within our region, whilst also ensuring alignment to our global vision and approach.

We also play a key role in supporting the Europe and India businesses strategy and driving our key people priorities, so are therefore also responsible for developing bespoke talent activities that meet our individual region’s needs. As Talent Management Specialist you will play an active role in supporting the successful delivery of both these globally and regionally focused talent management initiatives.

Working closely with the Head of Talent Management for the Europe and India region, the main responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:

  • Project manage and support the delivery of some of our key talent management activities including our annual performance review process, talent identification, succession and career development initiatives. Typical tasks to support these activities will include:

  • Developing slide decks for use in HR, employee and line manager education briefings.

  • Using our HRIS Workday to manage and administer these key talent activities.

  • Providing Workday user support to employees and the HR community where required.

  • Creating periodic reporting to track progress of these core activities.

  • Act as a main point of contact for our Employee Centre in response to general employee and line manager queries.

  • Partner with global colleagues, to support the project management of global talent development programmes.

  • Work closely with our regional HR Business Partner community, to support talent programme nomination activities.

  • Assist with the delivery of initiatives which support AECOM’s EDI agenda, including our programme of Reverse Mentoring.

  • Support the Head of Talent Management, Europe and India with the preparation and delivery of business updates or activity check-in calls, with stakeholder groups across all levels.

  • Prepare periodic progress reports on other key talent items.

  • Be a first point of contact to our HRBP community and wider business stakeholders for general Talent Management related queries.

  • Support with the management of external vendors, including activities such as raising Purchase Orders, invoice management, and acting as the key point of contact for tactical items relating to their services.

Qualifications

  • Several years with relevant experience within a HR, Talent Management or Learning function.

  • Strong project management, delivery and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks.

  • Self-drive and excellent attention to detail.

  • Able to work as part of a team, and a personal drive to deliver excellence.

  • Proven ability to work at pace and with agility.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.

  • Experience using the Workday HRIS would be preferred.
