ROLE SUMMARY
Plan International Liberia has been awarded GC7 TB/HIV/RSSH grant & C19RM grant from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Plan International Liberia has been selected as PR to implement the grant from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2026, in coordination with multiple partners including Ministry of Health’s NACP (National AIDS and STIs Control Program) and NLTCP (National Leprosy and TB Control Program), other donor stakeholders like PEPFAR, USAID and CDC, implementing organizations, civil society organizations and UN agencies. As Principal Recipient, Plan International Liberia will be coordinating a total of 5 sub recipients, 10 sub-sub recipients and 2 service providers throughout the 3 years with national scope of intervention. A thorough knowledge of current World Health Organization recommended clinical protocols for essential HIV, TB, PMTCT, KP Programming, Adolescent Health, AGYW Programming and Maternal Neonatal Child Health services is required.
Role Purpose
Plan International Liberia (Plan) requires a senior level HIV Specialist to lead the implementation of a nationwide facility and community level HIV and TB prevention, case finding, care and treatment program activities in Liberia. Plan International Liberia (Plan) has been selected as the Principal Recipient (PR) for the GC7 TB/ HIV/ RSSH grant in Liberia. Under the supervision and leadership of the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) – TB/ HIV/ RSSH, the TB/ HIV/ RSSH Program Specialist will be actively involved in the design, planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and knowledge exchange strategies and activities.
