Teacher of Geography – Secondary School – Andover – September 2025 StartAre you a passionate and inspiring Geography teacher seeking a new role from September 2025? Whether you’re an experienced practitioner or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) ready to take your first steps in the classroom, we’d love to hear from you.A secondary school in Andover, Hampshire is looking to appoint a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their humanities department on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach a subject that shapes students’ understanding of the world around them, in a school that values creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking.The Role:As a Teacher of Geography, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Teach a broad and ambitious curriculum that brings physical and human geography to life
  • Foster a learning environment that encourages debate, enquiry, and independent thought
  • Plan, prepare and assess to support all learners in achieving their potential
  • Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues in a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities team
  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as fieldwork, geography clubs, and themed learning events

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent); ECTs are welcome to apply
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Geography
