Job description

Teaching Personnel is seeking to recruit Teaching Assistants in the Wimborne area to support local primary schools on both an ad-hoc and long-term basis. As an educational agency, we offer various working arrangements to provide flexible employment that accommodates your requirements.Booking opportunities:

• Day-to-day support and sickness cover entails us calling you either in the afternoon before or on the morning of the workday to check your availability for sickness cover.
• Short-term cover is similar to day-to-day; it involves bookings for days or weeks to address short-term absences or to provide cover for courses.
• Long-term cover ranges from 1-5 days a week for more than 5 weeks. These positions often lead to year-long appointments or even permanent roles.
• Temporary to Permanent employment means working 1-5 days a week for 20 weeks, after which you will transition to a permanent employee of the school.

Requirements:

• Enhanced Child DBS certificate that is registered to the update service.
• Experience working with children across EYFS to KS2/3 (any Key stage experience accepted)
• Flexibility and drive to deliver excellent support for the class or individual pupils!
• Completion of our vetting/compliance checks, enabling you to work with children safely.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
