University of Rijeka, Faculty of Medicine, Croatia announces the call for applications for the following position: Teaching Assistant in the scientific area of biomedicine and health, scientific field of basic medical sciences, scientific branch of human physiology, at the Department of Physiology, Immunology and Pathophysiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka. Full-time job (fixed-term contract, until the return of the employee from leave).

Requirements:

 

Applicants must meet the requirements specified by the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education and the Decision on the Requirements for the Evaluation of Teaching and Professional Activities stipulated by the Rector’s Conference and the National Council for Science, Higher Education, and Technological Development (Official Gazette 122/17 and 120/21).

 

 

Applicants applying for the associate position must submit the following documents:

• signed application form
• Curriculum Vitae
• average grade certificate or diploma supplement for the Teaching Assistant position
• copy of the diploma or certificate of completed study (degree certificate)
• medical certificate by a certified occupational physician (for the first election only).

 

 

Applicants who are not native speakers of the Croatian language must provide evidence of Croatian language proficiency (B2 level) according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Foreign national applicants are required to formally acknowledge the validity of their foreign education qualification.

 

The vacancy is open to male and female candidates (Article 13, Paragraph 2 of the Act on Gender Equality, Official Gazette 116/03).
