In the appointment of Teaching Assistant, your general duties and responsibilities will be:
- Assisting course instructor with preparation for course delivery;
- Holding regular office hours each week for consultation with students;
- Communicating with students about tutorials (if required), course content, assignments, and examinations; and,
- Marking written assignments.
Your general location of work will be the University of Saskatchewan and you will report to Dr. Sharmi Jaggi, course instructor.
Required Number of Hours: 12 hours per week

Qualifications (Skills and Abilities)
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in political science, public policy, or equivalent is required.
- Teaching experience would be considered an asset.
- Preference will be given to students in good standing who are registered in a graduate program at the University of Saskatchewan in the Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy or Department of Political Studies.
