About the role

We’re looking for a part-time or full-time Team Assistant to support the CEO, COO and the wider team, so that together we can achieve our goals across Australia’s for-purpose ecosystem.

What you can expect

Every day will be different. On Monday, you might be planning the travel arrangements for a client visit, and in the afternoon doing detective work to match credit card expenses up to receipts. Tuesday, you could be pulling together an external event with panellists and guests, taking notes in stimulating conversations or providing support with board meetings.

In the second half of the week, you might be helping team members prepare research reports or presentations for our many partners and clients. You could be ending the week by organising a fun team celebration and updating the website with a new impact story, or even designing some cool merch for the team or our clients.

You’ll be helping to manage Sefa and Sefa Partnerships accounts, including processing invoices, reconciling accounts and other financial analysis. If you are interested in social media, you’ll be helping to manage Sefa’s social media platforms, crafting engaging social media posts, and designing eye-catching content for our digital marketing needs – think social media posts, website creatives, and infographics. Each day brings a new opportunity to showcase your creativity and organisational skills, ensuring no two days are ever the same.

What we’re looking for:

  • Passion, energy, commitment and understanding of the impact investing / social finance / social enterprise sectors.
  • Exceptional co-ordination skills and a natural ability to prioritise and organise tasks accordingly
  • First-rate communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Exceptional computer literacy, adept in using Microsoft Office suite – exposure to Salesforce, Mailchimp, Squarespace and Canva is appreciated
  • Experience in financial processing and analysis
  • An interest in social media and basic digital marketing, including branding and crafting engaging content or campaigns is helpful but not essential
  • A creative mindset, with the ability to design visually appealing materials using applications such as Canva
