The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an unlimited contract duration. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.
As Team Leader of the Regional HR Management team, you will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of a highly motivated team of currently 5 colleagues. You will be responsible for the strategic direction and continuous development of all activities within the team. Reporting directly to our Head of HR, you will be the central point of contact within the organisation for topics such as our recruitment processes, employer branding and establishing a consistent global HR structure across our country offices worldwide. You will also be responsible for the design, implementation and management of cross-functional projects in your area of responsibility. This role offers you the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment and make a significant contribution to the development of our global HR work.
Your responsibilities
- Lead, guide and support the team in all relevant HR processes and in the strategic development of the HR functions in the Country Offices
- Take responsibility for the development and monitoring of global HR standards in order to achieve Welthungerhilfe’s strategic goals
- Manage and oversee all recruitment activities and implement innovative recruitment strategies, processes and measures to attract and retain talent
- Strengthen employer branding and support employee journey processes to create an attractive working environment
- Define and ensure necessary quality standards to ensure high standards in all HR areas
- Ongoing development and monitoring of global HR standards in Welthungerhilfe’s Country Offices to ensure consistent quality
- Initiate and further develop future-oriented topics and derive recommendations for action for the Executive Management and the Head of HR in order to continuously adapt and improve our HR work
Your profile
- A university or college degree with a focus on Human Resources or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position with international HR experience
- Relevant experience in designing and managing international HR projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Profound knowledge of international recruitment strategies, employer branding and corresponding process optimization
- Strong problem solving and strategic thinking skills
- Conceptual and implementation skills
- Ability to consult in different cultural contexts
- Excellent spoken and written English; good German and/or French language skills would be an advantage
