Your Opportunity
Support the clients, staff and Program Manager within the Camperdown Support Services at Common Ground. This role encompasses guiding and supervising staff and also providing support to our clients with complex issues.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to oversee the allocation and support of clients in the program
- Support the team of case managers and AOD staff in providing evidence-based, intensive person-centered case management sessions
- Oversee client intake process and assist them in the process of transition out of the service
- Support staff in convening case conferences with stakeholders as required to create best outcomes
- Deliver single stream training programs which support the practical needs of the clients
- Foster partnership with local organisations, government agencies and stakeholders to enhance service reach and impact
- Assist staff with day-to-day running of the service supervision and program support in line with program outcomes
- Conduct quality audits of case file and practices to ensure high quality service delivery
- Contribute to employees performance discussions to develop planning activities when required
Requirements for Success
- Cert IV or Diploma in Community Services with minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Certificate in AOD desirable
- An understanding of combined lived experience and professional development that support recovery practices
- Demonstrated ability to provide supervision to employees and provide expert advice to employees at lower levels
- Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and supervise the implementation of educational/development programs for clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
