About the Role
The Team Leader, Aged Care Transition together with the Age Care Transition team plays an important part in the lives of clients who move from living independently into an age care setting. Your team is responsible for end-to-end process of working through a client’s assets to enable a smooth transition into permanent care.
Duties
- Demonstrate an ability to coach the team on a broad range of technical issues related to the Aged Care System, as well as Financial Administration
- Develop team members by actively seeking to improve skills and talents by providing constructive feedback, coaching and training opportunities
- Develop team members’ abilities to create commercial standard correspondence
- Comply with legislation, policies, work instructions and service standards
- Empower team members by giving them the authority and latitude to accomplish tasks, and through delegation of responsibilities to provide development opportunities
- Allocate workflow
- Manage overall team performance
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification, in community/social services, law, business or equivalent experience
- Experience managing and leading high-performance teams
- Experience working in service environments that require a high degree of problem solving and professional collaboration
- Experience in personal financial administration and or the ability to work under legislative requirements, with intermediate financial analytical skills
- Active listening skills & well-developed professional communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
