About the opportunity

As the Team Leader of the forensic Catalyst Program, you will have an opportunity to develop your leadership skills to support a new team and innovate growth and change in the program.

The role will provide the opportunity to work with adults aged 18 plus who are part of the criminal justice system. This role will drive a new project to establish strong pathways and linkages with consumers exiting the prison system.

The role will support group and individual therapeutic interventions to assist participants to establish healthier lifestyles free of problematic alcohol and drug use; and assist participants to avoid and better manage relapse.

About you

You will have a relevant qualification/s in health and/or welfare tertiary qualification, such as Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or Allied Health Sciences, as well as:

  • Certificate IV in AOD or have completed the core competencies (or able to complete within the first 24 months of employment.
  • Competencies in dual diagnosis (or able to complete within the first 24 months of employment).
  • Experience in leading a team.
  • Experience in group work.
  • Current Victorian drivers’ license.
