Team Leader – Children’s Services – Papunya

  • Full-time, fixed-term contract until 30 June 2025 with a possibility of extension
  • Salary package commencing at $85,390 (inclusive of superannuation and leave loading)
  • Based in Papunya community with subsidised housing
  • Relocation allowance will be provided

The MacDonnell region is located in the centre of Australia. Covering 270,000sq km and with an estimated population approaching 7,000, it has a unique beauty with picturesque water holes, magnificent flora and fauna, red desert sands and rugged mountain ranges.

This position is a full-time role, as the Team Leader – Children’s Services, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the childcare service while acting as the nominated supervisor providing and developing a high quality, culturally relevant Early Childhood Education for children aged from birth to school age.

What’s needed

Ideally you will hold or be working towards a Certificate III level qualification in Early Childhood or higher qualification and, at least 1 year experience working with the National Quality Standards.

Experience working in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment is desirable, and we’re looking for someone who will have a collaborative approach to decision making, and the ability to lead, motivate and mentor team members to foster independence while having a strong commitment to Two-Way learning.
