We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate who will be responsible for managing
a new team that carries out operations across the city, supporting the four area based team.
This team will focus on tasks such as tree and turf maintenance. They will also have
responsibility for all machinery maintenance and reviewing city wide health and safety
documentation. We are looking for someone who is a skilled horticulturist, is very organised,
with strong staff management skills and experience of health and safety systems and machinery
maintenance.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a level 2 horticulture qualification
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Have good horticultural experience, preferably in busy urban greenspaces
  • Have good experience of managing and developing staff
  • IOSH health and safety training or equivalent experience.
  • Be able to use mobile technology to work on the move
