- Hybrid work model + Salary range $96,000 to $110,00 pa pro rata depending on experience + Super + Salary Packaging benefits.

The Opportunity
This exciting Team Leader role will give you the opportunity to use your excellent project management skills while, leading a passionate team and cultivating your leadership style. Reporting to the Manager Community Care, you will provide operational leadership to the health promotion and aboriginal health teams, enabling them to achieve their strategic and operational objectives under IPC Health’s Integrated Health Promotion Plan and their contribution towards IPC Health’s 2025 Strategy.
With a solution focused and growth mindset, you will be able to demonstrate commitment and capability in driving high performance, improve efficiencies and implement new ways of working across the team. With strong collaboration skills and strategic thinking, you will continue to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and look to establish new relationships that will add value and impact to the prevention system.

You will make a difference by:
- Providing operational leadership to the Health Promotion and Community Strengthening Team, including the Aboriginal Health Team.
- Establishing strong stakeholder partnerships and networks that support and enhance the team’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Inspiring growth, creative thinking and deep understanding of community and client needs in relation to upstream drivers of health in collaboration with staff, community and stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance workforce capability for primary and secondary prevention in alignment with IPC Health’s Strategic Plan 2025.
- Inspiring team collaboration and impact by instilling and operationalising IPC Health’s Values (see below).
To succeed, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in health promotion, community development or a related discipline, and demonstrated experience leading a team.
- Experience coordinating multiple complex programs including a demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate projects within expected timelines.
- Strong emotional intelligence and demonstrated leadership capability to strengthen team collaboration and capabilities in prevention frameworks.
- Sound project management skills to manage team priorities, achieve deliverables and establish partnerships for greater impact.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, which are accessible to a variety of audiences including community.
- A current and valid Victorian driver’s licence.

This opportunity is a Full-Time ongoing position (0.8FTE negotiable).
The role is classified under the Community Health Centre (Stand Alone Services) Social and Community Service Employees Multi Enterprise Agreement 2017, level 5 pay point 4 (above award).
