About the role
Are you a dedicated Mental Health Occupational Therapist with a passion for leadership and a drive to make a difference? We’re seeking a dynamic Team Leader to lead our small Therapy Services team and ensure the delivery of exceptional, evidence-based practice.
As Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality mental health Occupational Therapy and other therapy services to our valued customers.
Key responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of clients to stay connected and aid progress towards their goals
- Leading, mentoring, and motivating the team, providing clinical and operational supervision, and fostering an environment of continuous improvement
- Managing and monitoring productivity performance targets to ensure your team achieves their individual and collective goals
- Developing and nurturing internal and external partnerships to drive growth and enhance service delivery
- Overseeing customer recruitment and retention processes, ensuring high-quality service provision and customer satisfaction
- Ensuring compliance with Quality and Compliance standards and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the therapy services

About you
We’re looking for a passionate individual who’s in or ready to step into a senior role and contribute to a culture that values customer feedback, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Your ability to manage competing demands, navigate organisational change, and maintain high standards of service will be key to your success.
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
- Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a team within the community, healthcare, mental health, disability or similar sector
- A solid background in managing fee-for-service, customer-driven services and a thorough understanding of NDIS legislation and terms of business
- Advanced clinical skills in Mental Health OT , with the ability to deliver high-quality, evidence-based services
- Strong business acumen, including experience in clinical governance, financial and productivity accountability, and stakeholder engagement
- A solid understanding of Positive Behaviour Support is favourable but not essential
