The role
The Orange therapy team consists of 6 therapists including three physiotherapists, two occupational therapists and 1 speech pathologist. Our centre is extremely well equipped to support the caseload of clients and families that CPA supports, most of whom are 0-18 years old. The team also provides service in the community and works closely with our team in Dubbo to service clients across the Central West.
This position is currently a part time role, however the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities or manage a clinical caseload could also be considered for the right candidate. At CPA we aim to be as flexible as possible to suit your lifestyle and balance the needs of the team.
In this role you will be supported not only by the Regional Manager (to whom the position reports) but by a network of therapy leaders across CPA, 5 of whom also support regional/ rural areas. You will also have access to various modes of leadership training including online courses and face to face sessions facilitated by Regional Managers, internal business partners and external subject matter experts. - Strong communication skills including conveying expectations, providing feedback, and facilitating team discussions, communicating risks and barriers to the Regional Manager, and effective engagement with stakeholders and clients to understand their needs and concerns
