The role
The Team Leader, Place Management role is responsible for overseeing a team of Place Managers ensuring high quality, effective delivery of tenancy and property management tasks. You will provide effective day-to-day co-ordination of the team’s service delivery activities and influence best practice and positive client outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will ensure your team of Place Managers are guided, supported and motivated in their roles and that you facilitate a positive team culture. Although you will be based in the Footscray office, you will be overseeing a portfolio of renters within a specific geographical patch therefore some travel will be involved.
We are looking for a motivated problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well under pressure. The right person for this role will demonstrate strong leadership skills, resilience and positivity.
Knowledge and practice within social housing, residential tenancy or social work sectors will assist you to hit the ground running in this role, but you may feel you have an ability to quickly learn or life experience that is equally aligned to Unison’s mission.
