About the opportunity

Your new role in our Commercial Property team will embed our asset management system and ensure a responsive maintenance service across Uniting’s asset portfolio, which includes Early Learning, Op Shops and Commercial asset classes.

You will lead a team of two in delivering a high level of customer service, responding to a range of property-related matters, and ensuring that our sites are safe and compliant. Your team will work closely with Uniting suppliers and contractors, undertaking invoicing payments, and managing positive client and customer relationships.

You will be a key support to the Head of Commercial Property, work closely with the Senior Manager Asset Planning and Projects, Senior Manager of Housing Services and Senior Manager of WHS, Safety and Facilities, and support the function of their teams.  You will be part of a highly skilled and fast-paced property team, and your work will help inform Uniting’s ongoing property strategy.

What’s on offer

In addition to a base salary of $93,860 and superannuation, you’ll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits which can be used for living expenses such as rent, groceries, bills, clothing, and much more.

We offer a great location in Wesley Place, Lonsdale Street. The building offers a range of concierge services and excellent end-of-trip facilities. We also work flexibly and set you up with the tools and access to work-from-home some days or at our other Uniting offices.

About you

You are known for your excellent problem-solving skills, initiative, and can-do attitude. You have a track record of delivering a high level of customer service and improving systems and processes.

You will also bring with you:

  • Experience in and understanding of property asset management, including managing property related matters, suppliers, contractors and invoice payments.
  • Excellent people skills and a track record in maintaining good working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in CxHousing or a similar asset management system and proficiency in Microsoft systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong team management skills and ability to build and lead a high-performing team.
  • Experience in data visualisation tools like MS Power BI would be well regarded.
