Why we need you

Democracy is at a crossroads, and the way forward depends on innovative solutions that can enhance citizen engagement and make governments more responsive. Our platform for AI enhanced citizen dialogue is at the forefront of this revolution, leveraging AI to support and elevate the quality of participatory dialogues from preparation and planning to moderation and discussion analysis to documentation and final reporting. But to bring this vision to life, we need you—an extraordinary software developer and/or AI engineer who isn’t just skilled in technology, but is also deeply passionate about driving social change. Without your expertise, our mission to reshape democratic participation could fall short. With you, we’ll build a platform that empowers citizens, enriches public discourse, and ultimately strengthens democracy itself.

 

Here’s what you’ll be doing

As our technical co-founder, you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing deliberAIde’s vision to life. You’ll be responsible for supporting and guiding the development of our AI-driven platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards of functionality and accessibility. This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to use your technical skills to create a lasting impact on society.

• Contribute to the development of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP), focusing on AI assisted discussion analysis, documentation, and reporting.

• Collaborate closely with the other co-founders to shape the overall strategy and direction of deliberAIde.

• Expand your expertise in generative AI, LLMOps, and other NLP-focused techniques working with cutting-edge tools and models to enhance our platform’s capabilities.

• Oversee the integration of NoSQL or SQL databases, particularly with Cosmos DB, within Azure services. • Contribute to both backend and frontend development, ensuring a seamless user experience for our platform.

 

You need these qualifications

• You are a software developer and/or AI engineer with a passion for social impact and a deep commitment to using your skills for good.

• You have experience working with Object-Oriented Programming languages like C# and Python, and you’re comfortable working with Azure AI and services.

• You are excited about learning and specializing in LLMOps, including fine-tuning, agent systems, and other NLP techniques.

• You have experience with NoSQL or SQL databases, especially Cosmos DB, and a solid understanding of database integration within Azure.

 

It would be nice if…

• You’ve worked with the React Next.js framework and have experience in frontend/UI development.

• You have experience with DevOps, particularly in deploying and managing projects.

• You’re driven by the motto, “I can fix that,” and you’re the go-to person for solving complex technical challenges.
