Technical Coordinator – Cultivating Change

 

Level: D1

 

Duration: Fixed term contract until March 31, 2025, with possibility of extension

 

Location: Dailekh district, Karnali province

The Role

The Technical Coordinator – Cultivating Change comes under the leadership of the Thematic Lead-resilience and climate justice. This position will design, plan, implement and monitor activities and strategies of Cultivating Change Project which will be implemented in partnership with LIBIRD in selected municipalities of SudurPashchim and Karnali province. The project consists of activities on food and agriculture, climate, and land nexus.

 

What we are looking for

The Technical Coordinator (TC)- Cultivating Change is a part of Programme team, to be managed by the Resilience and Climate Justice thematic lead. The team is responsible for supporting partners for proper implementation of projects, incorporating policy influence and feminist principles, and contributing to portfolio development.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in agriculture or related subjects, master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience (3 years of experience for master’s degree or above) on managing, coordinating, or implementing agriculture, livelihoods, climate change adaptation and agro-biodiversity programmes.
  • Knowledge and experience on gender, and feminist approach
  • Knowledge and understanding on Nepal’s agricultural research and development systems.
  • Demonstrable skills on communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills in English and Nepali languages.
