We are looking to recruit a motivated individual to the role of Technical Instructor to support teaching and research activities across all levels of study within our Pharmacy courses. This practical role will see you take a lead within the Pharmacology laboratories, preparing materials and specimens for lab classes, operating and maintaining associated equipment. The role will require you to ensure all work is carried out according to appropriate regulations and within local Health and Safety Guidelines as well as providing skills training to lab users. The role will also support the growing area of Clinical Skills, operating full body simulated patients and assisting with OSCE assessments.

Pharmaceutical Sciences encompass a broad range of topics. In this varied role you will support subjects including Pharmacology, Biology and Clinical skills as part of a wider technical team.

The School of Applied Sciences is based within our modern teaching facilities on the newly developed Moulsecoomb campus. The school specialises in research and education in the fields of Biology, Biomedical Science, Ecology and Conservation, Geography, Earth and Environment and Pharmacy. This diversity provides a rich environment in which to work and develop your career as a technician in the Higher Education Sector. Training will be provided to ensure that you are familiar with the universities facilities and working procedures and there will be opportunities for your continued professional development.
