Technical Lead – LMS 

  • £32,145 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)

  • Full Time 37.5 hours per week – happy to talk flexible working
  • Fixed Term Contract until the end of March 2025
  • Base: Hybrid working at the nearest Sustrans hub with the flexibility to work from
    home, or home-based (anywhere in the UK).

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans as part of the People Operations Team for
a 9-month fixed term contract 

As the Technical Lead, you will be responsible for improving the learning infrastructure by
managing the development and ongoing maintenance of our learning management system (LMS) to
effectively deliver on Sustrans requirements – leading the Charity towards becoming a learning
organisation.

You will also be responsible for creating, monitoring and continuously evaluating digital
learning content, ensuring it’s fit for purpose, accessible and effectively supports our
colleagues in developing the skills and knowledge needed for individual and team success. 

We offer true hybrid working, a flexible mix of working from home and occasional travel to a
nearby office hub. 

About you 

You should have experience working in an HR and/or Learning and Development environment, with a
proven track record of improving and managing an LMS or similar platform. 

We ask that you have exceptional IT and digital literacy skills, including in-depth knowledge
of LMS functionality, along with excellent communication and presentation abilities. 

Additionally, you should demonstrate proficiency in MS office 365, particularly SharePoint.
