  • Annual salary of £60,000 – £65,000 (FTE/DOE) + £4,500 Car Allowance

  • Full-time (37/39 hours), part-time and flexible working patterns available

The role

Due to the significant growth of our construction team, we are looking for a technical manager to join the team and contribute to our success. You will be working with both the pre-construction and construction teams to help tender, plan and deliver our projects alongside our Head of Construction, Contracts Managers and Site teams.

You will be required to review all tenders from a technical perspective to highlight shortcomings in the design information supplied by the client. You will also work with our partners in Regenda Development to assist in bringing internal sites from feasibility through to tender (stage 3) and then through to construction (stage 5) by attending project team and design team meetings.

The right fit

  • We are open to experienced candidates from other roles such as development engineers or project managers looking for a different role.
  • Demonstrable experience of construction projects, in particular new build traditional and timber frame housing projects is essential as is a relevant management or technical qualification (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience managing and liaising with in-house and subcontract teams and the ability to work with site teams to deliver results is key.
  • You must have outstanding communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders including residents, suppliers, subcontractors, clients and other third parties.
  • It would be preferable if you hold the following certification/skills: IT literate – Word, Excel, Power Project First Aid at Works certificate. CSCS Card. SMSTS Qualification.
