Originating in Germany over 30 years ago, the company has since expanded to employ 30 people in the UK.The Role:We are seeking an ambitious Sales Engineer with a passion for B2B sales. You’ll be joining a growing team to help drive sales of high-tech packaging machinery across the North UK region.Key responsibilities include:

• Proven track record in inside or external sales.
• Expertise in generating leads and managing a sales pipeline.
• Background in capital equipment sales preferred, particularly in food and pharma industries.
• Engaging in technical consultative sales with customers.
• Target-driven and capable of managing a heavy workload.
• Key account management experience.
• An engineering background (electrical/mechanical) is preferred but not essential.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience selling bespoke capital equipment or machinery to blue chip OEMs.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Someone who is eager to transition into an external sales role.
• Strong negotiation skills and a solution-based sales approach.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) preferred.
• Experience in selling capital equipment to food, pharma, or related industries.
