Based at our modern and well-equipped Fleet Maintenance Centre in Eastleigh, HIWFRS are looking to recruit a highly motivated and experienced auto electrical technician.
This position requires the applicant to be experienced and have extensive knowledge of the installation of and repair of electrical systems on light and large goods vehicles. Other tasks will involve:
Maintenance and care are carried out across the 62 HIWFRS sites and you will be expected to complete tasks on fire stations and on occasions at the scene of operational incidents to ensure the readiness and availability of fleet and equipment assets. This position is based at Eastleigh, however on occasions you may be required to work at other HIWFRS locations within the county of Hampshire or on the Isle of Wight.
