Technician

The Comfort Lake-Forest Lake Watershed District (CLFLWD) has an opening for a Technician. The CLFLWD is offering this position as either a paid internship or a full-time temporary position. ­

This position is currently expected to work on a hybrid schedule with a combination of field, in-office, and remote work. The wage is $18-20 per hour. The primary duties of this position include conducting erosion and sediment control inspections, writing and interpreting technical reports, and assisting with the administration of new permits. This position is part of a small collaborative team and will also have a variety of other responsibilities supporting the District’s programs including monitoring, operations and maintenance, aquatic invasive species management,  and public education and outreach. This position will also assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and Board meeting preparations related to the permitting program. There will be some evening and weekend work.
