The Role

We are currently seeking experienced and highly skilled Telemedicine Expert to join our team for upcoming UNDP-funded project related to Telemedicine evaluation, research, and strategy development. The project is expected to take place in The Philippines, specific experience in this region is desirable.

Responsibilities: As a Telemedicine Expert at AAN Associates, you may be responsible for:

• Analyzing & reviewing Telemedicine and Health Systems proposals, specifically offering advice to improve methodology for evaluations and assessment of Telemedicine programs.
• Contributing technical expertise to evaluations and assessments of Telemedicine programs, including providing support during inception, data collection, and report writing phases.
• Analyzing the process of Telemedicine implementation and providing suggestions for its improvement.
• Working closely with our team to ensure the success of Telemedicine and Health Systems projects.
• Note: This is a tentative job description, the actual role may vary depending on the project’s specific nature and scope once it is awarded.

Requirements: To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A relevant master’s degree in the thematic area (e.g., Public Health, Health Systems Analysis, Monitoring & Evaluation, Social Sciences, etc.)
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in Telemedicine program implementation. Experience with evaluations of Telemedicine programs is highly desirable.
• Specific experience working with government partners and development agencies to implement Telemedicine programs on national/subnational level.
• Expertise in proposal/bid development related to health programs is desirable but not essential.
• In depth knowledge and skills in mixed methods research, qualitative and quantitative data collection, and evaluation.
• Relevant regional experience in the Philippines or in East Asia and Pacific Region. In depth knowledge of the health system in the Philippines would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to work collaboratively and independently.
