West Virginia University (WVU) and the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation (NMSF) are looking for 1-2 field interviewers to survey visitors to the waters and coastal areas of Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Survey questions ask visitors about their visit to the area and their thoughts and perceptions about Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Survey sites include many state and municipal parks, marinas, boat launches, beaches, and fishing locations.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
The position will be scheduled approximately 20-30 hours per week, and the wage is $17.52/hour. Mileage is reimbursed for travel between surveying locations. Hours are flexible between May – September. Work is frequently done outdoors.
