Temporary Instructor-Biosecurity and Disease Prevention

The Instructor will develop online course modules for undergraduate students on the topics of biosecurity, disease prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship in agricultural animal populations. In addition, the instructor will support online and in-person continuing education training activities of the OSU CVM Antimicrobial Stewardship Program. Some required activities of this position can be accomplished remotely.
Essential Functions

Develops online course materials related to biosecurity, disease prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship in agricultural animal populations

Develops continuing education teaching materials in support of the CVM Antimicrobial Stewardship Program

Teaches biosecurity, disease prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship topics in various courses as assigned

Teaches continuing education topics related to biosecurity, disease prevention, and antimicrobial stewardship as assigned
Essential Qualifications
-
Advanced degree in a field relevant to agricultural animal health
-
Demonstrated experience in successful online and in-person teaching
-
Demonstrated experience in successful continuing education instruction

Evidence of ability to work effectively as part of a team to accomplish broad team goals

DVM degree
Additional Information:
Target Salary: $49,800 – $66,400 annually.
- This is a temporary position estimated through the end of 2024.
- This position has the potential to be hybrid based on candidate skills and qualifications.
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for work visa’s for this position.
