FEED the Children Malawi is looking to engage the following open temporary position in Lilongwe. The temporary position will be for a duration of two – three week intervals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in orientation trainings for research assistants
- Pre-test data collection tools in selected facilities
- Select participants for key informant interviews and focus group discussions on accordance to the eligibility criteria stipulated in the protocol
- Conduct key informant interviews and focus group discussions on selected facilities
- Transcribe the interview recordings into verbatim transcripts
- Update the study team on the process of qualitative data collection during debrief meetings
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Field Supervisor
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or degree in statistics, social sciences, economics, public health, or a related field.
- Training in qualitative research methodologies, survey design, or data collection techniques is a plus.
- Basic understanding of qualitative research and statistical principles.
- Knowledge of survey sampling methods and techniques would be an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
