Our supportive housing approach offers permanent or long term, safe and affordable housing that is intentionally linked to personalised support services. Support services for tenants are provided through partner organisations.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Supportive Housing for Families Program (SH4F Program)
The SH4F Program offers families access to safe and affordable rental housing that is linked to a specialised Keeping Families Together program delivered by our partner support provider.
This scattered site supportive housing model is a model that has been effective in keeping families together. The program is offered to families with at least one child in the 0-5 year age range and is designed to help families find stability in the community while they access support that responds to the needs of parents and children.
The SH4F Tenancy Manager is the primary contact for residential tenants who are housed under the SH4F Program. They are responsible for coordinating and delivering a client focused service to tenants and to oversee the day-to-day management of the residential tenancies.
The SH4F Tenancy Manager is the primary contact for Agents/Owners of properties head leased by CGQ for the SH4F Program.
The SH4F Tenancy Manager is required to maintain effective relationships and communications with all stakeholders, including the partner support provider, in order to deliver positive tenant outcomes consistent with the SH4F program.
A company car will be available for use in order to undertake travel associated with the role.
ABOUT YOU
As the primary tenancy contact for tenants under the SH4F Program, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering housing services to families experiencing or at risk of homelessness or those at risk of having children removed due to unstable housing. Your ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with real estate agents, property owners, tenants and support services will be critical in ensuring the success of our supportive housing model.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
- Demonstrated tenancy management experience utilising Property and Tenancy Management software (preferably Console).
- Ability to deliver tenancy management in the context of a supportive housing model.
- Understanding of the needs of women and families who experience chronic homelessness.
- Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Sound knowledge of RTA legislation.
- Excellent dispute resolution skills.
- High degree of initiative and able to work well in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong analytical ability.
- Confidence and skill in working with information technology systems.
- Drivers licence.
Desirable:
- Experience in partnering with homeless support services.
- Tertiary qualifications in Tenancy Management – Certificate 4 in Property Management.
- Policy, procedural and protocol development experience.
