Requirements: This role is an essential element of our business growth aspirations, supporting the operations, sales and business development teams across the initial enquiry to contract handover stages of the front end process.

Skills Required:

Objectives:

Provides tendering support to regional tendering and sales teams on win order strategies across the product lines.

Develop and submit detailed proposals ensuring they are delivered in a high quality, timely fashion, support the Inquiry to Order strategies of the business.

Review and evaluate detailed technical specifications to extract applicable client requirements and translate/communicate specifications to subcontractors, sub-vendors and the internal organization accordingly.

Obtain quotations as necessary for bought-in equipment, in accordance with latest Global Supply Chain policies.

Liaise with the colleagues from various departments in order that we meet customer needs, scope, and timing

Ensures accuracy and completion of both SalesForce tender data and M3 ERP system requirements

Work as a member of the UK Team to ensure KPI’s and Metrics are achieved.

Review customer purchase order against tender documents ensuring that the information is accurate. Co-ordinate any clarifications with customer and Trillium Finance/Legal until purchase order is acceptable to Trillium.

Ensure technical and commercial conditions of contract meet with business expectations.

Establish and maintain regular communication with key clients, including, where necessary site visits

An element of travel may be required to support customer visits during bid clarification/negotiation stages

Measurements:

Enquiry to Quote conversion timing

Order receipt to order entry in to M3 timing

Accuracy of your tenders; tendered Vs actual regarding costs, operating profit, delivery timescales correct quality and specifications

HSE performance – Zero LTI’s associated with tendering team

Education:

Minimum HNC/HND in a mechanical engineering discipline is preferable or significant experience of working in an engineering environment may also be considered.

Misc.:

Due to this role requiring UK Baseline Personnel Security Standard clearance for the MOD we can only consider British Citizens
