that is committed to marine and terrestrial biodiversity conservation in the eastern
Mediterranean. Archipelagos focuses on multidisciplinary scientific research and efficient
conservation work. The organization operates beyond city centers and commercial interests and
carries out conservation work alongside local communities, national and EU policy makers, and
media. The Archipelagos’ Terrestrial Conservation Team carries out surveys throughout the year
with a focus on the island of Samos, monitoring the status and the habitat of key species.

Role Description
This is a role for a Terrestrial Research Assistant located in Samos Island, Greece. This is a
full-time, on-site role where the Research Assistant will assist the research team in
conducting field research, surveys, and laboratory work in the areas of environmental
conservation and ecological restoration.
