The focus is on the analysis of the societal and institutional context, including in particular socioeconomic and environmental transformation processes at the regional level, and the resulting opportunities and challenges for cooperative organizations. Activities include conducting research independently and in collaboration with members of the Competence Centre (CC), especially the Director. Other responsibilities include assisting in obtaining third-party funding, presenting research results at conferences and in scientific and practice-oriented publications, as well as preparing them for policy makers, the media, and the general public.
