About the role
The Therapist – Disability Services provides quality therapeutic and resourcing interventions for participants, utilising a collaborative approach to strengthen relationships, enhance safety/wellbeing, improve independence, and develop supporting networks within the community.
What do I need for the role?
- Tertiary Qualification/s in Psychology/Social Work/Counselling or similar relevant discipline.
- Registration with a relevant peak body (e.g. Australian Counselling Association).
- Sound knowledge of the Child Protection Act and other relevant legislation.
- Significant experience in therapy/trauma, particularly with people with a disability.
