The Business Planning & Operations team take a strategic approach to driving impact cross-functionally across TikTok. They work with multiple business units and senior stakeholders driving forward business growth and operational efficiency by providing significant business diagnosis and practical solutions through the use of analytical insights.This is a unique role, combining both strategy and execution. Helping support TikTok Shop start-up growth in newly launched European markets. We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist for Shop Ads to help drive growth of closed-loop Shoppable Advertising (Shop Ads) on TikTok Shop in EU markets and the UK. Based in London. This motivated, highly analytical individual will work crossfunctional with colleagues from Sales teams, Account managers, Product teams and other functions. Digital marketing or performance advertising experience is required. With additional preference for eCommerce or social media background.Responsibilities:
– Develop go-to-market strategies to drive adoption of Shop Ads in several start-up European markets for TikTok Shop by identifying key opportunity areas, and partnering with cross-functional teams to execute.
– Function as a Digital Marketing and Shop Ads expert to help advertisers and merchants deploy best practices and overcome pain points.
– Analyse overall performance and strategic opportunities to identify potential gaps/opportunities to scale ads spend after launch.
– Build initiatives to help growth Shop Ads revenue with Sales and Product teams, and help drive these initiatives to completion.
– Work directly with key advertisers to help improve their digital advertising performance.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree or above.
– 3+ years in performance marketing, digital advertising, or adtech.
– Good understanding of eCommerce and how it links to digital advertising.
– Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities. Strong numerical reasoning and modelling skills with proficiency in Excel and/or more advanced data science tools.
– Strong ownership and self-started mentality and desire to work closely with business teams – take proactive initiative to identify business challenges, analyze problems, and autonomously develop and implement innovative solutions; demonstrate motivated self-starter attitude focused on continuous improvement.Preferred Qualifications
– Direct exposure working with advertisers to help improve and scale their performance marketing.
– Experience working in a consumer focused environment e.g Commerce, Retail, FMCG, Social Media & content-led, Technology, Entertainment.
– Work experience with Product teams, PMs, Engineers, other technology colleagues.
– Outstanding skills in working with, and influencing numerous stakeholder groups, including senior ones.
