Northumberland Wildlife Trust is looking for a confident, innovative and enthusiastic person to
join our Druridge Bay Team as Trainee Communities Assistant Northumberland.
This role will help the Nextdoor Nature Officer to prepare resources and communications,
organise and deliver events/activities in the local community and at Hauxley Wildlife Discovery
Centre, co-ordinate information and evaluate results. The role will include training
opportunities such as first aid, safeguarding and practical conservation alongside skills
sharing from experienced staff members
The role is for 35 hours per week on a fixed term contract for 12 months. NWT operates a
flexitime system.
The salary range is £21,000 per annum.
