We’re seeking an experienced Optical Assistant /Trainee Dispensing Optician to join our professional and friendly team. As an Optical Assistant/Trainee Dispensing Optician, you will be working with top-tier independent brands and Essilor lenses, providing exceptional service to our valued patients.Cobham is a charming town in Surrey, just 17 miles southwest of central London. It’s known for its affluent residential areas, peaceful environment, and excellent transport connections.Assist patients with selecting eyewear from a wide range of premium and luxury framesPerform pre-screening tests and assist with eye examinationsSupport with frame adjustments, fittings, and repairsDeliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every patientWork in a single clinic, supporting a patient base primarily aged 30-60Manage patient records accurately and efficientlyCollaborate with the team to maintain the smooth running of the practiceAt least 1 year of optical experienceStrong customer service and communication skillsPassion for optics and a desire for long-term career developmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA commitment to providing high-quality care to every patientPotential for progression, including support for a future Dispensing Optician (DO) courseA welcoming, team-oriented environmentOpportunities for professional developmentTuesday to Friday: 9:30 am – 5:00 pmSaturday: 9:30 am – 4:30 pmOur client is looking for a dedicated Optical Assistant/Trainee Dispensing Optician eager to make optics their long-term career, not just a stepping stone.
