ABOUT THE ROLE:
The School Services programs run in many primary schools during NSW school terms and provide relationship and sexuality education programs based on a sound educational principle to assist students and families address specific questions students have around gender, sexuality, and communication.
The successful candidate, once trained, will be responsible in conducting relationship and sexuality education programs on their own for primary school students, parents, and community members as required and to promote Interrelate programs & services.
There will be day & evening work involved during the school term and the need for administrative tasks to be completed from home. You must be able to attend compulsory training and attend the end-of-term meetings. Furthermore, you must have access to a motor vehicle, mobile phone, and current driver’s licence.

ABOUT YOU:
- Have your own vehicle / or regular access to a vehicle
- Available for day and evening shifts
- Availability to work from Monday through to Thursday, minimum of two days per week, shifts are a minimum of 3 hours.
This is a casual role and majority of the work available is weighted in School terms 2, 3 and 4
Ideally, our successful candidate will be based in Wollongong as we service schools from Helensburgh to Warrawong NSW.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree or Tertiary qualification in Education/ Social Sciences
- Experience in classroom management and working with children
- Experience in program development, implementation, and review
- Experience in group work and facilitation
- Experience in communicating sensitive/personal issues to children, students, and adults
- High-level communication, time management, and administrative skills
- Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain
