Our traineeship programme will be the perfect match for your first step in EU public affairs work including hands-on learning experience and network development.

We offer the opportunity to join our team as a trainee for 3 to 6 months, providing support to our advocacy work while developing your policy advocacy competences.

Overview of learning opportunities

• monitor and assess EU initiatives in social and training policy;
• prepare communication material, e.g. weekly newsletter for members;
• support meeting organisation with members of European institutions like MEPs and our member organisations;
• assist in preparing advocacy material.

Skills & competences

• Master’s degree;
• team-player, proactive and inquisitive mindset;
• analytical and organisational skills;
• ability to work independently;
• effective verbal and written communication skills;
• attention to detail and high level of accuracy;
• IT skilled, with good knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and social media;
• fluent in English – knowledge of other European languages is an added value;
• legal right to perform a traineeship in the European Union.
