The aim of this activity is to create sources of income for families affected by the earthquake so they can rebuild their lives, in addition to supporting the economy in Yayladağı which can’t afford too many families without income.

Currently we are planning to conduct 1 training package for beneficiaries as follows:

  1. TP1: Innovative & Healthy Cooking Techniques and Practices

    Training Main Objectives:

  • To introduce participants to innovative cooking techniques and recipes that emphasize health and nutrition.
  • To promote awareness of the importance of healthy cooking practices and their impact on overall well-being.
  • To empower participants to prepare nutritious meals using locally available ingredients and sustainable cooking methods.

Methodology

  • Development of innovative and interactive training sessions.
  • Hands-on cooking demonstrations and practical exercises.
  • Group discussions and knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Incorporation of nutritional education and cooking tips.
  • Pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge retention and skills development.
  • Daily Reports

Trainer deliverables

  • Design of training materials and curriculum.
  • Conducting engaging and informative training sessions.
  • Providing hands-on guidance and support during cooking demonstrations.
  • Evaluation of participants’ progress and skill development.
  • Preparation of training reports and documentation.

Duration and time frame

  • The training will be conducted starting from May 20th, 2024.
  • A total of 1 training package, each with multiple sessions.
  • The training will take place in Yayladağı, Hatay, Türkiye.
  • 2 Group per Training, Minimum 6 session per Group

Experience and Skill Requirements: Qualifications:

  • Culinary expertise and experience in innovative cooking techniques and healthy cuisine.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietary guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills.
  • Ability to adapt recipes and cooking methods to local ingredients and cultural preferences.
