Context:

ASSIST Creativelab is actively seeking experienced and dynamic trainers to contribute their expertise to this initiative. This unique opportunity allows professionals to play a pivotal role in fostering organizational excellence and talent advancement, contributing to their growth and success across diverse sectors.Travel to South Korea, will be required (expenses covered).

We are seeking trainers for the following category. Applicants are required to apply for and qualify in only one of the categories or more based on their experience and competency:

  1. Leadership development
    1. Envisaged to support leaders to navigate the complexity of the business within the environment of climate emergency and volatility
    2. Requires a rigorous program that includes relevant and appropriate learning for executives as well as executive coaching based on specific needs while catering for individual differences
  2. Management and leadership skills development
    1. Help develop the skills of current and future leaders at the organization to help them better manage work and people and achieve higher organizational results
    2. Focused on managers that are new to managerial responsibilities and their needs to make a successful transition, as well as more experienced managers that require support to excel in the role and within the context of the organization
  3. Interpersonal Skills development (communication, negotiation, conflict management)
    1. Empower staff master their competence to help them better interact with their environment or other stakeholders.
    2. Skills include, but are not limited to: active listening, communication, public speaking, negotiation, influencing and persuasion, empathy, teamwork, stress management, emotional intelligence, etc.
  4. Business and technical writing (Policy writing)
    1. Help staff create draft policies and procedures by using a language that avoids ambiguity and misunderstandings, create documents with consistent formatting and design, and share best practices for crafting clear written rules, guidelines, and other business documents
  5. Career development and assessment centers (assessment design delivery)
    1. Leveraged for use in determining potential, identifying skills and capabilities required for various roles within the organization as well as supporting employees to build the skills needed and that contribute to the business and career goals.
    2. May be a combination of individualized and group development activities.
  6. Group and Process facilitation (Team Coaching, retreat)
    1. Help teams collaborate better towards achieving the objectives and build buy-in through team engagement, as well as creating a shared understanding and aiding the staff to embody organization Values.
    2. Facilitation might take place either onsite or online.
    3. Might include responsibilities, such as: clarifying roles and responsibilities of the team members and solving team dysfunctions; identifying and solving team dysfunctions; supporting in creating and implementing specific action plans, facilitating team retreats, etc.
  7. **Wellbeing and Workplace Culture (**DEI, Civility, Psychological safety, sensitivity training)
    1. Develop and deliver training programs that promote positive wellbeing, psychological safety, workplace sensitivity and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Objectives:

The objective of this assignment is to engage expert trainers who have demonstrated experience in designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs. They will support the management of the end-to-end services required by the organization from learning needs assessment and analysis, curriculum and program design, delivery and post-learning for the assigned categories for which they have demonstrated experience and technical expertise.

Job Description/ SOW

Qualifications:

  • Academic degree (Masters, PhD) relevant to the thematic area, or a bachelor’s degree in lieu of 2 years of experience.
  • A certification from an accredited institute in the specific thematic area is essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to conduct training onsite or online.
  • Tech-savvy and ability to use online webinar and video conferencing platforms and tools, such as Zoom, Moodle and Mural, to deliver online training.
  • At least 10 years of work experience in:
    • Designing, conducting and evaluating training programs (Training Category 1 to 7), or
    • Coaching executive leaders and senior managers and relevant professional accreditation (ICF etc) or
    • Curriculum design and eLearning materials and courses development
    • Fluency in English language with strong writing and business communication skills.
    • Culturally savvy and experienced working in a multicultural and diverse environment at an international level.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and short notice.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Conduct learning needs assessment and analysis in line with strategy and vision for organizational and talent development to help identify the skills, the necessary competencies, and gaps to meet organizational and team objectives; may include learner interviews
  • Design specific curriculum, learning and development programs based on the outcome of the learning needs to develop and create engaging training curriculum which can be further used to not only deliver effective training but also to create interactive and video based e-learning course modules.
  • Develop or secure learning solutions and interventions that align with the organizational needs and learning objectives following a clear methodology and curriculum.
  • Deliver training to the target audience online (through zoom/webex/MSTeams) or on-site (in South Korea).
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of a training or development program.
  • Participate in the eLearning development process to assess and verify the content from the subject matter expertise by providing meaningful feedback and corrective actions to the Instructional designers and developers.
  • Participate in calls with the client pertaining to feedback, and planning.
