We are currently seeking to add a Training and Development member to our HR team. This person would be responsible for designing, delivering and coordinating the College’s training programs for our employees. Utilizing the College’s existing training programs, outside vendors, and internal training resources, and implementing adult learning delivery methods and modalities, this person would collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure consistency of training across the College.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience in a training or teaching environment, or applicable certifications, or a combination of education and experience. Proficiency in applicable technology, including web based meeting/training platforms (e.g. Go to Meeting, Zoom, MS Teams, etc.) and in MS Office. Ability to relate and communicate with a wide range of audiences in all forms of communication, including written, verbal and virtual. Ability to effectively present live trainings, both in-person and virtual, to large and small groups of people. Ability to manage projects and create content. Ability to pass a background check and have a good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in adult instructional design, training or other similarly related skills.

Physical Demands:

Normal office, lifting up to 10 pounds, ability to frequently sit or stand, use hands to operate office equipment. Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

Benefits Summary:

Generally, this position would be Monday-Friday, 8AM to 4:30PM (40 hours per week), but some flexibility in hours may be considered. This position is an on-site position.
